It was premiered on October 9, 2021 on their first concert since the CoronavirusPandemic. Set in four movements it came to mind when the ensemble premiered English Autumnin October, 2019. Having visited London several times, I had yet to experience the Changing of the Guard andrain was forecast for Sunday following the Saturday night concert. The skies were clear and I so enjoyedthe day an though how enchanting London is. The opening Prelude captures the excitement of the city.Soliloquies is in 3/4 time and heard in the sample recording.
