Within the middle section, the Upper Austrian anthem is incorporated into the music. This composition was commissioned by the Upper Austrian regional music directorate on the occasion of the Upper Austrian regional music festival, and was premiered atthe Brucknerhaus in Linz by the Salzkammergut Blaserphilharmonia under the direction of the composer.
