The lyrics are about a little boy who looks forward every year to play in the snow at Christmas, he gets married and goes home for honeymoon and it snows, he has kids of his own and takes them to his hometown so they can enjoy the snow too. Once he is a granddad he no longer likes the snow and his grandkids calls him a grumpy old man.
