Following a fast introduction by the accompanying band, the flute section follows in three-parts with a rapidly syncopated/staccato theme. After a short interlude by the band, this opening theme appears once again. The second flute theme returns following a short passage in which the band and the soloists alternate and the piece comes to a entertaining conclusion. Let your flute section shine with this playful new work.De titel zegt het al: dit stuk plaatst de fluitsectie voor het voetlicht. Na een snelle introductie door het begeleidende orkest volgt de fluitsectie in een driestemmige zetting met een vlot syncopisch/staccato uitgevoerd thema. Naeen korte onderbreking door het orkest komt dit beginthema nogmaals naar voren. De trio-opzet heeft dezelfde vormconstructie. Het tweede fluitthema keert terug na een tussenzin waarin het orkest en de solisten elkaar afwisselen.Flutes Forever: een verrassend stuk dat veel speelplezier oplevert.Wie der Titel schon andeutet, rückt dieses Stück das Flötenregister ins Rampenlicht. Auf eine schnelle Einführung durch das Blasorchester folgt das dreistimmige Flötenregister mit einem rasch synkopierten Thema. Nach einem kurzen Zwischenspiel des Blasorchesters wird das Eröffnungsthema noch einmal präsentiert. Der Aufbau des Trios hat dieselbe Form. Das zweite Flötenthema kehrt nach einer kurzen Passage, in welcher Blasorchester und Solisten einander abwechseln, zurück. Cette composition débute avec une introduction orchestrale pétillante. Les fl tistes exposent ensuite une ligne mélodique trois voix qui se caractérise par un rythme enlevé, syncopé et en staccato. Après un court interlude orchestral, le thème d’ouverture est réexposé. Le trio se développe selon la même structure. Les solistes entrent en conversation avec l’accompagnement avant d’introduire un nouveau thème. I flautisti espongono in seguito una linea melodica a tre voci caratterizzata da un ritmo elevato, sincopato e in staccato. Dopo un breve interludio orchestrale, il tema di apertura è esposto nuovamente. Il trio si sviluppa secondo la stessa struttura. I solisti entrano in dialogo con l’accompagnamento, prima di presentare un nuovo tema. Flutes Forever è un brano sorprendente e particolarmente piacevole da eseguire.
