About this arrangement

Brass Ensemble Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.792552 Composed by Lew Gilis. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 34 pages. Gordon Cherry #5008539. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792552). Four Kuehn (Keen) Guys was written for David Kuehn (pronounced ‘keen’) the head of the Tuba department at the University of North Texas. Professor Kuehn asked the composer to write a challenging work for his class.... and he did! As a Tuba quartet, all parts run the gamut of range and difficulty. It is also very playable by four bass Trombones and in any combination of Tubas or bass Trombones thereof. The quartet is in A-B-A format beginning with a cute sounding march followed by a very beautiful lyrical section and concluding with a repeat of the march section. It is a very satisfying work to perform and to listen to. The work of about 4 minutes in length is appropriate for advanced performers. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
