It is a tribute to friendship and the bonds that unite musicians in an orchestra.The piece starts with an energetic and bright fanfare, immediately setting a optimistic tone. It then gives way to a more solemn theme that develops by alternating woodwinds and brass in a more and more crowded instrumentation.A second part begins in a more melancholic atmosphere with a hautbois duo. Finally, the first theme returns for a final that highlights the unity of the orchestra.This work makes use of a complete instrumentation, each instrument family is highlighted, each musician plays an important role, reminding the importance of each one in the orchestra.
