I have played this many times on the piano, as it's probably one of the easiest fugues written in this collection.The original piece was written in the key of D for 4 voices. Transposing it to C puts it in a better range for the 1st flute.    This piece should be played marcato - a little pompous - throughout.This would be a good encore for your recitals!
