Gangwondo Arirang is part of the Folksong Revisited for Chorus series. I kept the original melody of the Korean folksong and expanded to enhance the meaning. Kangwondo Arirang is from eastern province and its melodies often evoke the struggle of the region’s tough, mountainous terrain.
