The Solo Collection includes original compositions written specifically for the album, covering a wide variety of musical styles. ‘Willi Melodie’ is a short unaccompanied piece in the traditional Alphorn style. ‘Jodelhorn’ is a fun, uptempo piece that showcases the virtuosic side of the instrument. ‘Alphorn Shuffle’ features the instrument in a Blues style, with an opportunity for the performer to improvise if so desired.
