Smith Publications (CL.CTS-7720-00). Claude T. Smith is well known for taking hymn tunes and creating thrilling arrangements. Variations on the theme are introduced in the fugue section with the hymn theme introduced in the triumphant ending. The audience/congregation may sing the hymn tune, enhancing the work for audience and performers. This work is also available as an SATB octavo, brass choir, band, and an edition for SATB Choir with piano/organ, which may be used as a dramatic closer for mass band/orchestra/choir.
