Besides 'Happy Hour' and 'Adventure Games', Ennio Salvere wrote this excellent suite for youth band. The first movement 'Good Friends' is a light sounding parade march; the second movement 'Lonely Bird' is rather a lyrical ballad with a slightly swinging accompaniment; the third part 'Rock-A-Cha-cha' brings a fine contrast, whereas the final part 'Spring Song' is a kind of rhythmical folk dance. Skilled conductors might recognize the hand of the master using this new pen name. Also available for strings!
