The first movement, "Good Friends," is a light sounding parade march; the second movement, "Lonely Bird," is rather a lyrical ballad with a slightly swinging accompaniment; the third part, "Rock-A-Cha-cha," brings a fine contrast, whereas the final part, "Spring Song," is a kind of rhythmical folk dance. Skilled conductors might recognize the hand of the master using this new pen name.
