About this arrangement

1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.564533 By Sharon Wilson. By Spiritual, Traditional. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. 20th Century,Contest,Country,Festival,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 15 pages. Sharon Wilson #2016881. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.564533). This one-piano, four-hands duet combines the African-American Spiritual "The Gospel Train" with the familiar folk tune "This Train." As suggested by the lyrics, this arrangement simulates the steady "rumbling" of a train as it races across the countryside. "The gospel train is coming, I hear it coming closer, I hear the train wheels moving, and they're rumbling through the land. . ." You'll hear the train getting louder as each hand joins in and then fading into the distance at the end. You'll hear the train "rumbling" throughout the piece, first by the SECONDO and later by the PRIMO as the melody weaves between the two parts. This enthusiastic train medley will inspire all to "get on board" because "this train is bound for glory." The purchase price includes the 7 page score with combined PRIMO and SECONDO parts on each page plus an alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO parts on separate pages (4 pages each).
