Wenige Jahre vor seinem Tod nahm er sich desselben Gedichts noch einmal an; jedoch ist das früher vorherrschende Gefühl der Verzweiflung der in die Unterwelt Verbannten abgemildert zur Ergebung in das unabänderliche Schicksal.
