This is the first of a set of four Divertimenti which Haydn composed for his first visit to London in 1794. They were originally written for two flutes and cello and here the arrangement is for flute, oboe and clarinet. There are three movements, Allegro moderato, Andante and Vivace. They are suitable for an ensemble of players of intermediate standard.
