Duration 9 minutes, 30 seconds. Published by Molenaar Edition (ML.040268050). Conductor Feike van Tuinen studied composition with Daan Manneke at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatory of music. A visit to Hever Castle in the South-East of England inspired him to write this composition for flexible instrumentation. We make a walk in the past by means of four historical episodes: I Entry of the royal family; II Dance of the playing children; III Walking through the garden; and IV Dancing in the ballroom.
