This piece is quite difficult to play fluently at high speed but would make a great show piece in recital or study. I began to write the opening section in the key of C which wasn't too bad but I needed a flatter (less twinkly) mood and transposed down a 6th to A flat. I meant to write a piece called 'The Rag Trade' but it all seemed a bit 'Higgledy-Piggledy'.
