Jan Gerrit Adema made a beautiful arrangement of this lovely folk melody of the Maori, also called the national anthem of New Zealand. E tangi ana koe, hine e hine... Huil maar niet meisje, huil maar niet... Iedere cultuur heeft zo zijn eigen melodieën om kinderen te troosten of in slaap te zussen. Jan Gerrit Adema maakte een prachtig arrangement van dezelieflijke volksmelodie van de Maori’s, die ook wel het volkslied van Nieuw Zeeland wordt genoemd.
