After a faith-building experience when Georg Neumark claimed the promise found in Psalm 55:22, he wrote the lyrics to this song: "If you but trust in God to guide you and place your confidence in him, you’ll find him always there beside you to give you hope and strength within…." This arrangement is very expressive throughout. Verse 1 and 3 are the same separated with a slower, quieter verse 2. The parts alternate (or optionally, could be sung in unison) on the first half of verse 2. The piano provides a flowing, delicate accompaniment throughout.  The vocal ranges are as follows: SOPRANO – D4 to D5; ALTO – A3 to B♭4.
