Inspired by his love of the Bach cello suites, Dorff modeled a dance suite for unaccompanied contrabassoon, based on dance rhythms from his ownlife. The movement titles are: Hustle Misterioso, Twist Variations, Bear Hug, and Funk Scherzo.
