Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.697646 Composed by African-American Spiritual. Arranged by Sandy McIntire. Country,Instructional,Sacred,Spiritual,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Sandy McIntire #6207357. Published by Sandy McIntire (A0.697646). Jacob's Ladder is an African-American spiritual. This arrangement for early intermediate piano combines two very different versions. The first is taken from Slave Songs of the United States, first published in 1867, which suggests that this version originated on plantations in Florida. The second version is well-known and found in numerous main stream hymnals starting in the early 20th Century. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
