The choir parts are moderately easy (with some divisi) and support the soloist for the most part; however, they are given the third stanza to sing unaccompanied. The brass parts are moderate in difficulty (1st trumpet is required to play a whole note D6 at the finale). A good pianist (late intermediate +) is required to play moderately fast scale passages, both hands, during a transitional section, as well as a number of thick chord passages and leaps.
