Score and parts. 12 pages. Alexander Wilson #727772. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.1127142). "Joyful Light," the fourth movement of the composition, is based on a traditional chant from Kiev and the text from the Evening Hymn of Light, which is over 1600 years old. You might imagine the candles of an old Russian cathedral being lit at dusk as you perform this work. This arrangement for brass choir includes 8 parts: 2 trumpets, 2 horns, 2 trombones, 2 tubas, and 1 euphonium part that is interchangeable with the 1st tuba part. Performance time is around 2 minutes. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
