It was premiered at the Ringers' Spring Concert in April of 2014 - the final concert with Dr. Payn before his retirement. This piece was a surprise that the Ringers pulled off without the help of Dr. Payn. It was a wonderful collaboration between myself, all the ringers and Sam Robinson, who conducted the piece at the premiere. It was a special moment to surprise Dr. Payn with this piece - a sincere token of appreciation from all of us to him.
