About this arrangement

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.997500 Composed by Emmanuel Danielson. Contemporary,Standards. Score. 11 pages. Emmanuel Danielson #5755001. Published by Emmanuel Danielson (A0.997500). This piece was inspired by the story of the typhoons around the 13th century. As invading naval forces from Mongolia were about to reach Japan, a typhoon was said to appear and wipe out every ship.  It was an event that happened twice, once in 1274 and another in 1281. The term "Kamikaze" translates to "Divine Wind" and this piece, with its winding arpeggios and dark harmonies, illustrate this story of the immense typhoons that prevented such invasions from happening.
