Kemah, which in the language of the Native American Karankawa quite literally means 'wind in my face', is an extended tone poem that plays with the concept of wind - with wind instruments, in the various musical impressions of wind throughout, and tongue-in-cheek with the addition of a wind machine to the percussion section.
