UPC: 685462012572.La Forza Scura is a follow-up to an overture I wrote a number of years ago entitled Black Tower Overture. Those familiar with that work will at once notice the similarities. La Forza Scura however, was designed to be accessible to less experienced bands while still retaining the sinister undertone of its big brother. Once again the sounds portraying rugged landscapes and fierce battles are found in the Allegro portions of the piece while the sounds of despair and yet glimmers of hope are found in the Andante.
