In 2009 I started playing a writing music for piano solo. This is my first composition, inspired by Yann Tiersen's piano pieces which I was listening to at the time. With this piece I wanted to express the freedom ("libertà" in Italian) of being able to express my feelings through music and approaching this new advendure of piano playing. However, being perfectionist and insecure, I never published my performance until 2014, when I released it on my Bandcamp (https://mttbernardini.bandcamp.com/album/la-libert-single). I composed several other pieces for piano solo between 2009 and 2015, which I never published. To this date, 23 years later, I decided to take the challenge and finally publish my music.
