This instrument, a kind of extended glass harmonica, was developed by the Baschet brothers in 1952. From the beginning, several versions of the piece were planned, first for violin and Cristal Baschet, then violin and piano, flute and piano, and flute and Cristal Baschet. Inspired is Thierry Pecou's friendship with Pascal Cibier, a gardener and landscape architect.
