Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1188668 By Manuel Peguero. By Franz Joseph Haydn. Arranged by Manuel Peguero. 19th Century,Classical,Film/TV,Thriller. Score. 6 pages. Program transcriptions-Finale / personally transcribed #788275. Published by program transcriptions-Finale / personally transcribed (A0.1188668). For those who have seen the film, you'd certainly remember the Tom Cruise character, Lestat, playing the piano with such ferocity while he casually chats. Then in a later part plays the Haydn melody again in a more somber mood as the scene calls for it. No one can deny that this choice of music for a vampire movie captures the horror aspect and is appropriately named after a frightful and powerful character. It's taken from Haydn Sonata no. 59 and some how it has found renewed "immortality" in a movie. Strong opening notes, wonderful mid melody (bridge) , and this version returns to the main melody with even more drama.
