In order to make this newer Christmas song more accessible for budding musicians, I used larger print, alpha notes, and somewhat simplified rhythms in this abridged version. The appropriate introduction and ending make it a truly beautiful piano solo appropriate for Christmas Recitals, Christmas Eve Services, and family gatherings.The specific fingering on the parallel thirds in m. 17-20 and 30-33 is a wonderful opportunity to employ the needed skill of connecting them even without pedal.
