The work was commissioned by and dedicated to Gerry Pagano and the St. Louis Low Brass Collective, with its first performance on January 20, 2015 at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis. The work is in a contemporary style and is about 11 minutes in length, appropriate for virtuoso performers. The work has many different effects, sounds and contrasts. Listen to the World Premier recording of this music performed by: Tim Myers, Amanda Stewart, Johathan Reycraft - trombones / Gerry Pagano - bass trombone / Ed Jacobs, Shawuna Kuebler - euphoniums / James Land, Matt Kuebler -tubas / Jim Pugh - conductor.
