The music was composed by Queen Lili'uokalani, and the text is in Hawaiian (with the exception of a single poignant English phrase, “one fond embrace, until we meet again”). This is a lovely concert closer. The first piece in the series is “Akahi Ho'i” - be sure to read about that one too. They make a wonderful programming pair.
