About this arrangement

Small Ensemble,Strings Bassoon,Clarinet,Double Bass,Horn,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.902084 By Rainer's Rainbow. By Gustav Mahler. Arranged by Rainer's Rainbow aka R G Roth. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 137 pages. Rainer's Rainbow #5337345. Published by Rainer's Rainbow (A0.902084). Mahler wrote his Rueckert lieder originally for piano and voice and the orchestration was later created by his wife Alma. This arrangement conveniently removes the requirement of a full orchestra for a concert and gives much greater dynamic than a piano only performance. The instruments used are exactly the same which Franz Schubert chose for his Wind Octet in F. This makes for a very nice pairing at a concert. Like a good meal and wine.
