Ten onrechte, blijkt nu bij het ontdekken van deze concertmarch van formaat. Dit werk werd meesterlijk bewerkt door Georges Moreauen is geschikt voor orkesten van hoger niveau.Camille Saint-Saëns ist uns vor allem durch seinen Karneval der Tiere und der �Orgelsymphonie (Nr.3) bekannt. Wie dieser tolle Konzertmarsch beweist hat er auch andere große Werke geschrieben. Georges Moreau bearbeitete diese bisher unentdeckte Komposition auf meisterhafte Weise.
