Instrumental Duet Harp,Instrumental Duet,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924827 Composed by Stanley M. Hoffman. Contemporary. Score and parts. 8 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #3913007. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.924827). This piece was composed for a call for scores for Vox Novus' 15 Minutes of Fame series. Although the Admiral Launch Duo did not choose to perform it, the resultant piece is quite a pleasant one. Written in a modal musical language, Meditation employs a perpetual mobile-like, accompanimental harp motif that persists for all but the final bar of music, hence the work’s transcendental title. The tenor saxophone part is far less staid than that of the harp, featuring a contrasting and constantly varied melodic line.
