About this arrangement

Organ - Digital Download SKU: A0.912508 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Contemporary,Easter,Spiritual,Standards. Score. 5 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #6519099. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912508). Inspired by the opening melody of Olivier Messiaen’s (1908-1992) SERENE ALLELUIAS FROM A SOUL LONGING FOR HEAVEN, from ASCENSION DAY -Four Symphonic Meditations for organ, the piece begins softly with a chant-like melody. As the work progresses, sound volume increases that symbolizes the coming of divine light. The latter half of the piece becomes quieter and ends in a major key; it depicts the assurance of peace and love. Meditation II is suitable for recital use, and may be performed during the Lenten season or Good Friday service. Organ registrations and tempo indications are only suggestions. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
