Auf einem Karussell - einem 'Merry-Go-Round' - dreht sich immer wieder ein anderer Teil nach vorne, hin zum Auge des Betrachters. Hier stellen sich immer wieder andere Instrumentengruppen in den Vordergrund, indem sie sich mit Varianten des Hauptthemas und einer zweiten Melodie abwechseln und so das Stück reizvoll und spannend für Musiker und Publikum gestalten.
