Published by Samuel Wellman (A0.882143). This piece is an exact mirror of Chopin's 'Minute' Waltz. The left hand now plays what the right hand originally had, and vice versa. It's not simply an inversion but the same relationship of black and white keys so that the 'feel' of the left hand duplicates the right hand original. One may inspect Vincent Persichetti's 'Seven Mirror Etudes' to see how this works; in his pieces the LH is a mirror of the RH. But in mine there are two mirrors, so to speak: each hand is a mirror of what the opposite hand has in the Chopin original. The result is somewhat odd, since major triads become minor and tonal relationships are altered.
