Written for and dedicated to the2014 SW-ACDA Children's Honor Choir NOTES FROM THE COMPOSER & TRANSLATION: This piece was inspired by Latin text of the Renaissance. I wanted to compose something for the SWACDA children’s honor choir that could hopefully spark in them a lifetime of celebrating music. As the Latin text states, “music is a gift of the supreme God,” and later the English text states “we can feel God’s treasure inside me and you.” What wonderful words for all of us to hold in our hearts!
