The content and meaning of this song is a Filipino custom in which we celebrate the growing up of our daughters becoming a REFINED LADY on their 18th birthday.  I may not be around to sing this song for Sydney when she reaches the age of eighteen.  However, my wish is for her father to sing and dance with her when the time comes.  I also hope to inspire all parents to sing and dance with their daughters when they reach the age of eighteen.
