The introduction to this work is inspired on the nickname of New Hampshire, ‘The Granite State’, which refers to the extensive granite formations and stone quarries. We further explore this beautiful state through Market Square in Portsmouth, the nature park Franconia Notch, and the Kancamagus Highway. The work closes in a grand manner, with a bow to one of the most beautiful of all American states.New Hampshire maakt deel uit van de grotere regio New England in het noordoosten van de Verenigde Staten. De inleiding van deze compositie is ge nspireerd op de bijnaam van New Hampshire, The Granite State, die verwijst naar omvangrijke granieten formaties en steengroeven.
