A conductor friend asked if I could write a longer version of the Nordic Overture, which she had previously programmed with her orchestra.Completed in the Fall of 2019, Nordic Adventure expands upon the previous themes used in the Nordic Overture. The work goes through various transitions and textural changes before eventually reaching its energetic climax. This work is dedicated to conductor friend Suzanne Rome, who asked me to write this work.
