About this arrangement

Trumpet Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.924833 Composed by Stanley M. Hoffman. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 1 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #3913107. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.924833). This piece was composed for a call for scores for Vox Novus' 15 Minutes of Fame series. Although it was not chosen for performance by Kate Amrine, this brief piece for trumpet in C would be a nice addition to any trumpet recital or concert. Notturno Pastorale (pastoral nocturne) is a straightforward piece which begins in C Minor, makes a journey to A-flat Major in the middle section, and closes with a nearly literal recapitulation of the opening section. The music features traditional pastoral melodic and rhythmic motifs in 6/8 time.
