This arrangement is designed for a beginning student to play the PRIMO while an intermediate player (teacher, parent, friend, sibling) plays the SECONDO. All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position centered around middle C and then played one octave higher. The score is written in the key of G major giving the PRIMO practice playing an F# in the left hand.The PRIMO plays the melody for the first verse and then the SECONDO plays the melody for much of the second verse. The second verse concludes with the PRIMO back on melody and then for the final tag, the two parts alternate playing melody.
