The score provides guidelines for actions and reactions, but you may add your own to ham it up even more. Basically, the players are upset with the smart-aleck who is ruining their song. They stare and make faces which does no good, so they resort to tricks to try and lose the smart-aleck in the song. By the end they finally all work together to make music.  It is written for 4 instrumental players. The top part is the obnoxious smart-aleck who just plays accented blasts. Part 2 is mostly a single note drone. Part 3 is mostly 2 notes back and forth, Part 4 is whole note chord roots. The music itself is very easy. All parts have a range of one octave or less.  Perfect for any beginning concert that needs a good giggle!
