The refrain is in Latin, and somewhat reminiscent of parts of Carmina Burana! This was commissioned for a Lessons and Carols Service in a cathedral in my area several years ago. The choral parts are not difficult, however the organ accompaniment is more challenging - not wholly accurate in the recording!
