Why would He let this agony Be what He chose to feel? How did He conquer evil there While anguish never slept? What caused His final triumph then, As some around Him wept?   As Jesus suffered willingly Love flowed from every pore. When in the sacred Garden place Love unlocked every door. Then on to Calv’ry’s dusty cross Our Savior paid full price. Thus love, pure love, his Godly love Made Him the perfect Christ.   O, only Love survived the cross In that momentous hour.
