The accompaniment suggests the wave-like motion of the vast ocean over which the melody floats like a majestic ocean liner.The work has been performed in concert many times by lyricist Désirée Regina and composer/pianist Margaret Brandman who have also recorded the song cycle for the ‘Songs of Love and Desire’ album on the JazzEM music label (MMP8041).  The work is registered with A.P.R.A (Australian Performing Rights Association).
