Fanfares ring out as the main theme makes its first appearance, accompanied by majestic rhythms. The calm and refl ective second movement lets the audience catch its breath before the festivities (and main theme!) return, leading to a resounding and exciting finale! Speciaal voor u als u met een onvolledige of kleine bezetting moet werken: Opening Music, een afwisselend, driedelig openingswerk van Gilbert Tinner! Fanfareklanken en een hoofdthema met een majestueus karakter duiden het beginvan het werk aan. Na een stemmig lyrisch tussendeel volgt opnieuw het hoofdthema. Dan echter met een aantrekkelijke beat om ons swingend naar het einde van de compositie te leiden.Mit Rücksicht auf kleine und unvollständige Besetzungen schrieb Gilbert Tinner diese abwechslungsreiche dreiteilige Eröffnungsmusik. Fanfarenklänge und das Hauptthema in majestätischem Rhythmus markieren den Beginn des Stückes. Nach einem besinnlichen lyrischen Zwischenteil folgt erneut das Hauptthema, welches im attraktivem Beat-Stil zum Schluss der Komposition führt. Cette pièce d’ouverture en trois mouvements contrastants et contrastés s’adresse aux formations incomplètes ou petites formations instrumentales. La trame est solennelle, expressive et mouvementée. Gilbert Tinner ha composto questo brano in tre parti con particolare riguardo alle bande ad organico ridotto. L’inizio del brano è caratterizzato dai suoni delle fanfare e da un ritmo maestoso. Un passaggio lirico anticipa la riesposizione del tema principale che accompagna con uno stile beat il brano al suo finale.
